What Flotilla 88 Does

Flotilla 88 plays a part in the above mission at Lake Monticello in Fluvanna County, Virginia. Lake Monticello is a 350 acre lake filled with pontoon boats, runabouts, fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, sailboats, tubers, skiers, paddle boats, and lots of people enjoying the lake.

Boater education is important to keep all these people safe, and it's one of our specialties.

Augmenting the Coast Guard

Flotilla 88 stands ready, along with all other Auxiliarists, to augment and assist the U.S. Coast Guard as it carries out its missions for Homeland Security.
